Three evenings, three continents, one stage. The Klangfarben Festival brings the music of the world to the Arkadenhof of the Thon-Dittmer-Palais every summer – one of the city's finest open-air venues, with acoustics that surprise even seasoned concert-goers. Friday opens with Butter Funk Family, followed by Divanhana from Bosnia on Saturday – known for their infectious blend of Balkan jazz and traditional Sevdah music. Les Frères Smith close the festival on Sunday with blues, soul and Americana of the highest order.
During the day, the adjoining Haidplatz invites visitors to explore: the "Markt der Kulturen" offers goods, food and live music from around the world and Altstadthotel Arch is right on the square, in the heart of the festival action.
