The reception desk is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. In summer, there is an additional night service, so the reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

The hotel has approximately 89 rooms, including single rooms, double rooms, family rooms, junior suites and one suite. Amenities: free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, desk, modern bathrooms and some rooms with air conditioning. Minibars/small refrigerators can be borrowed from reception on request (€15/night).

Public parking spaces and car parks are available nearby. Discounted tickets for €13/24 hours are available at our reception for the ‘Tiefgarage am Theater’ underground car park at Bismarckplatz (6 minutes' walk away), the car park at Dachauplatz (11 minutes' walk away) and the car park at Petersweg (10 minutes' walk away).

Please note the Regensburg low emission zone (green sticker required).

Yes, there are spacious family rooms and superior family rooms that can accommodate up to 4 people.

There is a breakfast room where a generous breakfast buffet with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options is served daily. There is no restaurant in the Altstadthotel itself, but there are many options right on Haidplatz and around the hotel.

The hotel is centrally located on Haidplatz in Regensburg's old town. It is easily accessible by car (car parks nearby) or public transport (approx. 15 minutes' walk from the main railway station; approx. 1 minute's walk from the Haidplatz bus stop).

A laundry service is available for a fee. Irons and ironing boards can be borrowed free of charge from reception.

The hotel itself does not have its own wellness area. However, there are gyms and wellness facilities in the old town and surrounding area, which the reception team will be happy to recommend.

A limited number of charging points for e-bikes are available. For electric cars, there are public charging stations in nearby car parks.

Children up to 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parents' room. Please indicate the age of the children when booking.

The following children's prices apply to the breakfast buffet: up to 6 years free of charge, 7-12 years: €8, from 12 years: full price.

Some of the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Rooms that do not have air conditioning are equipped with a fan in summer.

Yes, the hotel is located in a 12th-century patrician house with a rich history. Renovations have always been carried out in keeping with the historic character and listed status of the building.

Yes, there are four different conference rooms for up to 40 people in total. Additional conference facilities for larger groups are available opposite in the Thon-Dittmer-Palais or in the Salzstadl down by the Danube. Our team will be happy to help you plan your conference and assist you in putting together a suitable supporting programme.

Our hotel is committed to sustainability measures, such as waste prevention and the use of sustainable materials. In October 2024, we were awarded gold in the DEHOGA environmental audit.

From Regensburg, cycle paths lead along the Danube, e.g. towards Walhalla or Kelheim, as well as through the picturesque Upper Palatinate. Day trips to the Bavarian Forest are also possible.
