As the evening sun sets behind the towers of Schloss St. Emmeram and the first notes drift through the historic courtyard, something special begins: the Schlossfestspiele Thurn & Taxis. From 10 to 19 July 2026, one of Germany's most beautiful venues transforms into a stage for world-class music – from Verdi's passionate opera La Traviata to the "rock star of classical music" David Garrett and the velvety jazz of Gregory Porter. Ten evenings, ten unique experiences, one incomparable setting.
The programme brings together opera, pop, rock and jazz under open skies – from a grand opera gala to a Sunday morning children's show. A festival for every generation.
Altstadthotel Arch is just a few minutes from Schloss Thurn & Taxis – perfect for letting the evening linger and starting the next day well rested.
